The GFWC Lake Lanier Woman’s Club, Inc. is proud to join the vibrant community of the General Federation of Women’s (GFWC) clubs across the nation. As part of one of the largest and most impactful women’s organizations in the world, we are committed to empowering women, promoting volunteerism, and improving the lives of individuals through community service.
The GFWC Lake Lanier Woman’s Club, Inc. is one of 64 clubs in GFWC Georgia. We are members of the GFWC North East District, along with seven other clubs of various sizes in our area. Several of our members serve as officers and chairmen at the district level, and have also served at the state level as well. Leadership is very much encouraged within our organization!
We are a diverse group of women dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of those around us. Whether through education, community improvement projects, or advocacy, we strive to be agents of change in the Lake Lanier area. Together, we bring a shared vision of strength, compassion, and leadership to every endeavor.
As part of GFWC’s proud tradition, we focus on a wide range of initiatives that align with the Federation’s core values, including:
- Arts and Culture: Supporting local arts programs and promoting creative expression.
- Education and Libraries: Championing literacy and lifelong learning opportunities.
- Health and Wellness: Advocating for healthier communities through service projects and awareness campaigns.
- Civic Engagement and Outreach: Fostering active citizenship and addressing local needs.
